:: Laptop and Notebook Repairs

ITIS has been repairing and supporting Notebook computers for several years now. Upgrading hard drives, increasing memory, replacing keyboards due to spillage or sticky keys, replacing touchpad’s, replacing or repairing floppy drives and cd/dvd’s, replacing broken covers, repairing faulty screens, extracting data from hard drives and fixing software issues are a few of the things we do.

At IIS we offer both onsite and walk-in service of all computer, printer, fax and related equipment but due to the complexity of repairing notebooks they are repaired in our controlled workshop facility only. If you have any problems getting your notebook computer to us, call us and we can organize to have it picked up from your office or home.

ITIS carry’s an extensive range of spare parts and accessories for Toshiba, Compaq, HP, Sony, IBM, Acer, Fujitsu, Nec and Asus notebooks including keyboards, AC adapters, memory and batteries to name a few.

Password Removal

We can remove unknown passwords from Toshiba, Compaq, HP, Sony, IBM, Acer, Fujitsu, Nec, Asus and many other Notebooks, Laptops and Tablet Pc's and render them useable again.

LCD Repairs

We offer LCD repairs at a fraction of the replacement cost, if your LCD monitor is cracked or damaged we have access to hundreds of used LCD Screens, LCD Panels, Inverters, Flex cables, LCD Covers and Hinges to minimise the cost of repair.

Backlight Replacement

If your laptop screen is dim, feint or has a red tinge replacing your notebook screen will be an expensive exercise, at ITIS we are able to repair the LCD screen, the chances are the CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) is faulty, the CCFL is a tiny lamp that supply’s light to the lcd panel, this can be replaced at fraction of the cost of a screen replacement.

Socket Replacement

If your DC power jack or socket is loose or has broken and is not making contact replacing the system board is a very costly exercise, at ITIS we are able to replace the Dc Jack/Socket at a fraction of the cost. Damaged or broken USB Ports, Audio Sockets, and PCMCIA sockets can also be replaced or repaired.

Inverter Repairs

Inverter boards and flex cabling are repaired rather than replaced whenever possible to minimize the cost of the repair.
